Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Weblance Studios website and the design services provided by Weblance Studios ("Weblance", "we", or "I"). By using this site or engaging us for a project, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Weblance Studios designs, builds, and operates custom, hand-coded websites for businesses and individuals, provided primarily as a monthly subscription service. The scope of your service is defined by the plan you select (Monthly, Annual, a one-time buyout build, or Custom) and any details we agree on together in writing.

2. Pricing & Payment

The website subscription is $297 per month (or $2,970 per year — the annual plan renews automatically each year unless cancelled, with an email reminder at least 15 days before each renewal). The monthly charge repeats automatically until you cancel. It includes the design and build of your website, managed hosting, SSL, security, unlimited changes to your site — big or small — the on-page SEO foundation plus ongoing monthly search work (one new page or write-up, Google Business Profile posts, a drafted reply to each new review, and a one-page report), and Missed Call Text Back where you want it (SMS, so it starts once carrier registration clears). We guarantee no rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue. Your first billing period begins the day you subscribe. New features or integrations (for example online booking, e-commerce, or membership areas), ad-campaign work, link building, and review generation are not included; the first two are available as optional add-ons, quoted separately. One-time buyout builds are also available, starting at $749, with pricing quoted per project. 3. Revisions & Edits

Before you subscribe, we present a completed design and refine it with you until it's right. After launch, your subscription includes unlimited changes, big or small — text, images, hours, staff, and price updates as well as new pages and design changes — typically completed within 24 hours on business days, subject to fair use. Bigger jobs like a brand-new page or a full redesign can take a little longer; you'll always get a clear timeline up front. New features and integrations are quoted separately.

4. Satisfaction, Cancellation & Refunds

You see your finished website before you ever pay — you only subscribe once you're happy with the design. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing, your current billing period runs to the end of its cycle, and no partial-month refunds are issued. When a subscription ends, the website is taken offline. Your domain name always remains yours.

5. Ownership & License

While your subscription is active, the website design and code remain the property of Weblance Studios and are licensed to you for your business's use. Your domain name, your content, your photos, and your brand remain yours at all times. You may purchase your website outright at any time (a "buyout," priced from $749 depending on the site); once a buyout payment is received, full ownership of the site and its code transfers to you with no licensing or lock-in.

6. Hosting & Domains

Your subscription includes fully managed hosting — I handle the setup and keep your site online and running; you don't need to manage any servers or hosting accounts yourself. Your domain stays under your ownership and control. If you buy your site out, you're free to move it to your own hosting at any time; I'll provide everything you need to do so.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and any content (text, images, logos) needed to complete your project, and you confirm that you have the rights to use any content you provide to us.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services or website for any unlawful purpose, or to request content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weblance Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project in question.

10. Late or Non-Payment

If a subscription payment fails, we'll notify you and retry billing. If payment remains outstanding, the website may be taken offline until billing is resolved. For buyout purchases, ownership of the website transfers to you only once the buyout payment is complete.

11. Portfolio Rights

We may feature the completed website and related work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing, along with a credit or link to your business. If you would prefer we not showcase your project, just let us know in writing and we will honor that.

12. Client Delays

Launch timelines depend on you providing access and materials — typically your domain access, booking links, and any final content. "Live within a week" is measured from when we receive what we need. Subscription billing runs from your signup date regardless of delays on the client side.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
